About Us

delivered.direct was founded in May 2014 with a view to provide bespoke logistic services to both public and private sectors. We have an established client base each with their own individual requirements.

We operate without the constraints of office hours or weekends and have delivered or collected items during timed windows some competitors cannot match.

delivered.direct operate throughout the UK and EU, we are not restricted to mainland UK. We have an office in the heart of Manchester City centre and are currently looking to expand.

This expansion plan includes the acquisition of leases for premises in Leeds, Carlisle, Worcester, Milton Keynes and Edinburgh. Storage and freight forwarding will be offered at these sites along with the Manchester facility.

Why use us

It is quite easy for SMEs to simple purchase their own vehicle to suit their needs, the only benefit to this is merely having a vehicle at the disposal of the company. Unless that vehicle is always being used then it does not make for an ideal business model.

The downsides to owning a vehicle, besides maintenance, is reliability and staffing issues including sickness and holidays. This could make or break some SMEs. If a full time driver were to be employed; unless there is a full time requirement for driving then it is wasting money.

Likewise, taking a member of staff from a different role effectively removes that individual from the role they were initially employed to do; be it sales, marketing etc. Thus reducing productivity.
